2009 Ride Information
2009 Ride Was A Success - (8-17-09)
145 miles, 156 motorcycles, over 200 participants, organized traffic
control through the Hood River area, a great route, fantastic food
at the end... all spells out a great day, even if the band pulled a
"no show" on us.
I didn't ride this year, but everyone that came in to final stop at
Latus said they had a great run and I got the sense that everyone
enjoyed the day.
After all was said and done, we netted $41,000.00 for Doernbecher
Children's Hospital this year, which makes our four year
accumulative total $134,000.00! The Credit Union Charity Ride
has exceeded everyone's expectations and there are no words to
express how appreciative we are to everyone that gets involved...
sponsors, volunteers, and of course the riders.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year, and the "theme"
for next year will be "Tell a Friend, Bring a Friend"
