Your Credit Union Charity Ride committee took the year off last
year to re-group, re-brand, and re-think ways to make this year's
ride more fun and more successful than ever before.
As you can see, the Charity Ride is now the Ride & Rock.
Here's why: after wending our way through Portland and Clark
County on our bikes, we will convene at the beautiful
Bethany Vineyards
in Ridgefield, WA for a concert featuring the high-energy
blues and jazz music of saxophonist
Patrick Lamb
. In short,
we shall ride, then we shall rock! Those who wish to partake in
only the rock
portion of the fun can purchase tickets for the
concert only.
Here's what you can expect from this year's Ride & Rock:
For insurance purposes, riders and passengers must be 18 years of age or older, and concert goers must be 12 or older.
We will start in Vancouver at iQ Credit Union's downtown branch, ride en masse to Doernbecher Children's Hospital to drop off stuffed bears for the children. From Doernbecher's, the Poker Run begins. We’ll ride to St. Helens Community FCU in Scappoose. From there, we head to OHSU's Legacy Clinic in St. Helens, OR, then to Fibre FCU's Operations Center in Longview. Our poker run ends at the Ridgefield iQ CU branch. Then we’ll cruise on over to Bethany Vineyards in Ridgefield, WA for the Patrick Lamb concert.
